:: Ass service ::
no, nothing to do with the ass..except for the customer service workers here who seem to display the intelligence of an ass
this would probably be a follow up to a post i had on Astro customer service awhile ago..i can't be bothered to dig up for the link to it, go search the archives if you're interested :p
i had some problems with my handphone service so i called up maxis for help..first thing i noted was that they charged us for our phone calls for help! which annoyed me..
when i first called, the language menu comes up, making wait so i know which number to press for english
then another menu came, which took significantly longer than the first one, with the option i wanted to select being the last..i probably wasted about 2 minutes getting through to customer service..
so one dude answers, i forgot his name, and i told him my problem..he got some details and he told me to hold..and so i wait, knowing that the call was being charged, getting annoyed at the music through the phone..about 3 minutes later, the phone just gets cut off.
i was like 'fuck! what the hell was that??'
that pissed me off..
so i gave them a call again, this time since i knew what to press already, i got through much quicker..this time a lady answered and i told her that i just got cut off while holding on for one of her colleagues and that i wanted to speak to him, but she just ignores me and asks me what my problem is..i go through my problem again, and then she tells me
'sorry, our system is down at the moment, and i can't do anything for you, could you please call back in 2 hours?'
damn was i pissed! i felt like screaming 'COULDN'T YOU HAVE TOLD ME THAT IN THE FIRST PLACE?' hell, first she refused to give the phone to the guy who hung up on me, secondly, she wastes even more of my time.
in the end i wasted quite alot of time and probably quite an amount of cash as well, and what did i get in the end? NOTHING. hell!
to hell with maxis customer service! RARRRR
