since there hasn't been a post in ages (i'm wondering why) i decided to breathe some life back into this blog, and so here I am!

how many of you feel that way? and without the internet, you'd be friendless and lonely

i think the internet has opened many doors for people to get to know new people, and make new friends, and even creating relationships in the process.. i've got a few friends who got into relationships online, even before meeting their partners for the first time!

like wow..it's like straight out of a movie! like a fairy tale! meet your partner, online! how many of you can say that it works? i know i can't, for me, i'd need to have met her in person first..for a few of my friends all they needed were photos and they were satisfied! haha but sometimes they turn out to be very different looking from their photos! i've heard horror stories before, and they never have happy endings :p

sometimes it's not really about the looks, its about their personality..alot of people are very very different online and offline..someone you can talk alot with online could turn out to be real boring in person because he/she is too shy to talk without a nickname to hide behind..alot of people use the internet as a place to breakaway from their own life, to make some people think they're something they're not

yes i have met a few people through the internet before, and they don't always turn out like what you had in mind.. haha

with the advent of friendster, i think the online dating scene has gotten much bigger..just a quick look through the gallery and you can find at least 50 girls/boys who match what you are looking for..but whether you end up going out with them is another story :p

for me, the internet hasnt gotten me into the lives of many girls or vice-versa :p, but it has helped me get to know the ones i already know, better :)
